چکیده

Automatic analysis of cartographic images is an important task for the development of intelligent geographical information systems. Both geometrical features and color are powerful cues to extract spatial semantic objects. This contributiondeals with the use of the various color pieces of information for partitioning color images and for extracting geometrical-color features with mathematical morphology operators.

Kohonen Self Organizing for Automatic Identification of Cartographic Objects

Automatic identification and localization of cartographic objects in aerial and satellite images have gained increasing attention in recent years in digital photogrammetry and remote sensing. Although the automatic extraction of man made objects in essence is still an unresolved issue, the man made objects can be extracted from aerial photos and satellite images. Recently, the high-resolution s...

Video-based face recognition in color space by graph-based discriminant analysis

Video-based face recognition has attracted significant attention in many applications such as media technology, network security, human-machine interfaces, and automatic access control system in the past decade. The usual way for face recognition is based upon the grayscale image produced by combining the three color component images. In this work, we consider grayscale image as well as color s...

Performance Analysis of Segmentation of Hyperspectral Images Based on Color Image Segmentation

Image segmentation is a fundamental approach in the field of image processing and based on user’s application .This paper propose an original and simple segmentation strategy based on the EM approach that resolves many informatics problems about hyperspectral images which are observed by airborne sensors. In a first step, to simplify the input color textured image into a color image without tex...

Color Adaptive Neighborhood Mathematical Morphology and its application to pixel-level classification

In this paper spatially adaptive Mathematical Morphology (MM) is studied for color images. More precisely, the General Adaptive Neighborhood Image Processing (GANIP) approach is generalized to color images. The basic principle is to define a set of locally Color Adaptive Neighborhoods (CAN), one for each point of the image, and to use them as adaptive structuring elements (ASE) for morphologica...

Gaussian Noise Removal by Color Morphology and Polar Color Models

This paper deals with the use of morphological filters by reconstruction of the mathematical morphology for Gaussian noise removal in color images. These new vector connected have the property of suppressing details preserving the contours of the objects. For the extension of the mathematical morphology to color images we chose a new polar color space, the l1-norme. This color model guarantees ...
